As owner of Kim Schlossberg Designs, Kim provides strategic planning, execution and coordination of marketing, branding, graphic design, writing, website design and social media to the firm’s clients. Prior to founding Kim Schlossberg Designs, Kim served as the regional marketing manager for a $300 million practice (North Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma) of an international professional services firm. Kim managed, hired and trained a proposal and graphics staff of up to ten people. Kim and her team crafted selling messages consistent with the firm’s positioning and the targets’ stated and unstated needs. The team’s work products included proposals, oral presentations, presentation boards, advertisements, brochures, invitations and other marketing collateral materials.
Kim attended Drake University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She continued her education with graduate work in Marketing at The University of Texas at Dallas and in Architecture and The University of Texas at Arlington.
Kim is very active in the community both personally and professionally. She serves on the board of Promise of Peace Gardens, and recently completed seven years of service on the board of the Housing Crisis Center. Other volunteer and pro bono activities have included working with Jericho Road Project, Girls, Inc., The Family Place, The First Unitarian Church of Dallas, Friends of Fair Park, and Visiting Nurse Association.
She is a member of the Lakewood Area Women in Business, East Dallas Networking, and American Institute of Graphic Artists. She has served the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association’s Non-profit Special Interest Group. She is also a former Vice President of Marketing/PR of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
